The Blood of Jesus will never lose its power

The Blood of Jesus will never lose its power

DEVOTIONAL for Monday 27th March 2017

I grew up singing songs about the Blood of Jesus. Rich, poetic hymns, simple and complex, all proclaiming the truth that there is “Power in the Blood”. And you know what – I’m glad. I’m glad that my childhood mind was impregnated with truths about the power of the Blood. Over many of my adult years, I have found my spirit fishing in the depths of my memory and retrieving some verse, some melody connected to one of those Hymns that I learned as a child. Still, they stir my heart, enlighten my mind and encourage me to press in for more of God.

At some point in my youth, I discovered the music of Andre Crouch and today’s song – “The Blood will never lose its power”. It still moves me, encourages me, inspires me all these years later. What a powerful statement it is. It shatters the fears of the natural mind, destroys the lies of the enemy and breaks the chains of unbelief. I encourage you to meditate on this today, repeat it to yourself, “the blood that gives me strength from day to day, it will never lose its power. Do it until your heart vibrates with Divine energy.

Remember Paul’s words today

Remember today Paul’s words …. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 8:38 The one thing that guarantees you an experience of His Love, His Presence, is His Precious Blood. It doesn’t matter what situation you find yourself in today, good or bad. Nothing can separate you from His Love, His Presence – the Blood guarantees it. Let the truth of this wrap itself around your mind and heart today. As you do you will experience the Power of His wonderful Blood.

  • Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance. I must say that you’ve done a amazing job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Chrome. Exceptional Blog!
